Home Decor Tips!

A new year gift for all our fans and subscribers! Zaarga has started sharing Home Decor Tips....Below is the summary of the tips we shared on Facebook  this week:-
Z Tip 2012 #1: Home Decor - "Try changing out your duvet cover or bed linen to a different colour to give the bedroom a new look for the new year." Olive green, Lilac, Opulent Blue, Crimson Red or Classic Black & White - whatever colour is on your mind this New Year - go for it !

Z Tip 2012 #2: Home Decor : Colour forecast for 2012 : Pantone had declared the colour of 2012 to be (hold your breath darlings!) as Tangerine Tango, a spirited reddish orange. Pantone says this colour will provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward. For your home : you could simply get some cushions, throws, curtains or table runners in this colour.

Z Tip 2012 #3: Home Decor: "The color forecast for 2012 is looking bright for those who love vibrant colors. Black has been replaced with warm browns and Popsicle orange, raspberries, rose, royal purple, and bamboo tones are taking hold of the household."-says Cherishing Spaces blog about 2012 trends. Even if you din't much care for "Tangerine Tango" (see yday's post), try and grab some home decor items in these colours to brighten up your home :-)

Z Tip 2012 #4: Home Decor: Uplift your home space with Plants ! Add a leafy plant in a gorgeous planter or simply place a succulent in a bowl on a table. Pick a plant for your living space based on your own preference: big glossy leaves and a plant that needs everyday care (like the fiddle-leaf fig) or an easy maintenance succulent. Not only do plants bring a beautiful sculptural element into your space, but it is said they remove toxins, reduce noise and alleviate stress too. What’s not to love? Z Tip 2012 #5: Home Decor: Why wait until spring to clean out your house? Now is as good a time as any! Writer and textile designer William Morris once said, “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” We agree !! Clean up, make space and then shop for some beautiful home furnishings on Zaarga to make your living space a little more beautiful :-)

Cheers!
